The National Association of ESEA State Program Administrators (NAESPA) announced that Ackerman Elementary School, located in Ackerman, was named a National ESEA Distinguished School by the state education agency in Mississippi. This prestigious honor, awarded to only up to 100 schools nationwide each year, highlights the schools exceptional achievement and commitment to student success.
