July 15 2-6

*ALL students must complete a registration packet and provide two updated proofs of residency.

Homeroom teacher information will be given once all documentation is completed.

School lunches will not automatically be free for the 2026-27 school year. Please complete a lunch application on myschoolapps.com. Lunch applications determine whether or not your child qualifies for a free or reduced lunch price.

**We will have computers available during registration if you would like to complete the online application at AES.

FAQ:
Q: Didn't we just fill out a lunch application in March?
A: Yes. You will still have to fill one out for the 2026-27 school year.

Q: Do we have to fill one out if my child brings his/her lunch?
A: Yes. Even if a student does not use school meals, the application data helps our district secure Title I funding and other state educational resources.

All students will need to fill out a lunch application for the 26-27 school year. This will determine if a student will be free, able to eat at a reduced price, or have full price meals for the upcoming school year.

Outstanding Administrator CCSD’s Incoming Superintendent Glen Blaine received the 25-26 Outstanding Administrator Award from Miss. State Univ. The ceremony was held at MS Christian Univ. where several educators from around the state were honored in different educational areas.

Ackerman Elementary Open House for the 2026-2027 School Year will be August 4 and 5 from 3:30 to 5:30.

August 4 is for Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 4th grade, 6th grade, and Mrs. Dempsey's class.
August 5 is for PreK, 3rd grade, 5th grade, and Mrs. Lipsey's class.

All registration documentation (along with 2 proofs of residency) must be complete before visiting the teacher.

*This will be the only time that parents can meet their child's teachers before school starts on August 7. On the first day of school, parents will need to drop students off in the car rider line or students will need to ride a bus to school. Parents will not be allowed to walk students in.

Choctaw County is ranked #4 out of the 141 districts in the state. Congratulations and way to go AES, FCES, and WES 3rd grade!!!!
