We look to start releasing the start of school plans next week Tuesday and beyond. We will release generalized plans from the district. Schools will release plans specific to them!


Administrators and medical personnel continue to work together to plan ways to have traditional start to school. Plans hope to be posted next week. Working on options for parents.


CCSD is planning on a tradition scheduled start to school in August! Our medical task force and admins have been and will continue to plan ways for CCSD to operate as safely as possible. Our goal is to keep schools open! It will take us all working together to achieve our goal!

Ackerman Elementary School will be mailing out report cards for students who have not picked up their report card yet on June 15th. If your child has a fine from the cafeteria, library books, or classroom books that have not been returned, report cards will not be mailed out until all fines are cleared. You can stop by to pick up report cards, pay fines, or drop off books tomorrow or Thursday of this week from 8 – 3 or we are open Monday through Thursday each week from 8 – 3. 20th Century Club ladies are adding pops of color to a building at Ackerman Elementary School! It’s looking great so far, and we appreciate all the hard work 20th Century Club does! #teamAES


Summer feeding program starts today! Lunch only will be served and is free to all children ages 0-18! It will be served from 11am-1pm at CCHS only. Lunch will be served Monday, Tuesday and Thursday the month of June. Grab and go style only!

The Choctaw County School District is participating in the 2020 Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children 0 – 18 years of age regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
