Ackerman Elementary School - We will have Santa pictures on November 11th. Slips to purchase pictures will be sent home with students on Monday. Students must have their forms and money in order to take pictures. #teamAES

Ackerman Elementary School will be doing a food drive November 8th through November 16th. This is to support the Choctaw County Food Ministry. #teamAES

Andrew Salley, a 1st grader at Ackerman Elementary School, purchased a pass to sit at the teacher’s desk for the day from the PBIS store! #teamAES

Mrs. Miller’s 5th graders at Ackerman Elementary School are doing an amazing job on their centers. They are working hard on their writing and learning so much! #teamAES


2nd graders at Ackerman Elementary School in Mrs. Halford’s class are doing a great job on their math! Lots of hands on activities are keeping these kids on track with learning! #teamAES


Mrs. Sanders had students at Ackerman Elementary School working on Sequencing/Procedural. Students had to sequence the traps in the book, design a trap, and create a blueprint of the school showing their location of the trap! #teamAES



Mrs. Barnett’s students at Ackerman Elementary School started a new unit on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. They took a virtual field trip where they studied all aspects of the parade. Next up was essay writing and there is more to come! #teamAES



Mrs. Toombs and Mrs. Lewis have their 1st graders at Ackerman Elementary School working hard in their groups and on their math. Keep up the great work! #teamAES
