PreK students at Ackerman Elementary had “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” feast on Friday. The students read the book earlier in the week during class. On Friday, they ate toast, popcorn, pretzels, jelly beans, and jello like the characters in the book while they watched the movie.

As part of their unit, students came up with reasons their turkey deserved to be pardoned and had them dress the part.
