Sports Medicine students had a great trip to tour MS Blood Services in Flowood, MS. The students were able to go behind the scenes of the blood donation area. They saw how the blood was donated, screened, processed, and packaged for use in hospitals. Big Thank You to MSBS!

Culinary Arts II students have been learning about eggs and the many cooking applications. In the kitchen lab today, students made sausage and cheese frittata, quiche Lorraine, Cheese souffle, and southern eggs Benedict with pork tenderloin and biscuits.


Mr. Loggins classes did a Scientific Method Lab using skittles to see if what the company website says about the mass and number of candies in the bag is correct.





A special thank you to Dena Kelly, Volunteer Coordinator with Legacy Hospice, for coming to assist in the WBL experience with our Sports Medicine students. The students demonstrated vital sign skills.

SFC Curtis McGee visited CCCTC classes today and spoke to students about the opportunities available through the Mississippi Army National Guard.
