Congratulations to Weir Elementary 3rd grade on their results from the reading state test. There were 404 elementary schools reporting from around the state and WEIR Elementary 3rd graders scored in the top 10% of all schools in the entire state.

Health Care and Clinical Services (HOSA) students delivered painted Easter boards to CRMC nursing home residents today.


The Sports Medicine Class at the Choctaw County Career and Technology Center teamed up with MS Blood Services to host a blood drive for senior students and district staff. The blood drive went great as many students & district staff donated life-saving blood!



Mrs. Hammons' Healthcare & Clinical Services students and Mr. Johnson's Sports Medicine students enjoyed seeing the AirCare Helicopter Team and Pafford Ambulance Service this week in a real emergency. They stood by and observed what these two teams do in their everyday careers.

Sports Medicine and Health Science and Clinical Services students toured the CPR lab, blood lab department, had informative question and answers about graduate studies, and attended Program Awareness Day at UMMC.
