The CCCTC Culinary Arts and Construction students visited the Choctaw Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The students assisted the residents in decorating Christmas ornaments and cookies.


Mrs. Johnson invited Mr. O'Bryant with MORA to speak to Mrs. Hammons' and Mr. Johnson's classes. He talked to the students about the different types of organ and tissue donations as well as the different careers and how to set themselves apart from everyone else.


A special thank you to Cheryl McIntire, with Mississippi Lignite Mining Company, for presenting the donation to the CTE School Counselor Program. We appreciate all you do to support our students and staff at CCCTC!

CCCTC Culinary Arts students served hot chocolate at the Ackerman Public Library as part of the Holiday Open House.




The Sports Medicine Class at the Choctaw County Career and Technology Center teamed up with MS Blood Services to host a blood drive for senior students and district staff. The blood drive went great as many students & district staff donated life-saving blood!

Second year Culinary Arts students competed in the Junior Chef Competition at the Lowndes County Career and Technology Center. The beef tostadas got 4th place and veggie pizza got 2nd place!


Thanks to all of our CCCTC student organizations (HOSA, FFA, SkillsUSA) that participated in the canned food drive. We are so thankful for all the support from our students, parents, and community.




Students from our Choctaw County CTC HOSA Chapter attended a Fall Leadership Conference in Pearl, MS at the Clyde Muse Center. Students had opportunities to hear guest speakers, network with industry professionals and college recruiters, and see various emergency equipment.




CCHS Career Coach, Tonya Johnson, invited Mr. Mike Still from Sly Manufacturing in Mathiston to speak with Mr. Berry's Ag. Power classes about what is expected in the workplace and what Sly Manufacturing has to offer them in the future.
