Congratulations to Ackerman Elementary School’s Chargers in Charge for the month of November. These students are doing an excellent job in their classrooms!



A BIG THANK YOU to Lauren Jones for coming into Mrs. Utley's 3rd grade PACE classroom today to help the students learn all about Egyptian clothing and makeup. The kids had so much fun dressing up and taking pictures. We can't wait for PACE presentations next week!!

Mrs. Tuck and Ms. Logan’s Kindergarten Class at Ackerman Elementary School are doing a great job in their centers. These students are working incredibly hard!





Today Mrs. Miller’s class at Ackerman Elementary School started their Christmas Around the World unit! They traveled to Mexico, read and worked with text evidence, and made their own Christmas piñatas!





Mrs. Busby’s Kindergarten Class made a visit to the PBIS Store to spend their Charger Bucks!

Mrs. Busby and Mrs. Tucks's students at Ackerman Elementary School did a great job disguising their turkeys to keep them safe this Thanksgiving.

Mrs. Davis and Mrs. Burdine's students at Ackerman Elementary School did a great job disguising their turkeys to keep them safe this Thanksgiving.

PreK students at Ackerman Elementary had “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” feast on Friday. The students read the book earlier in the week during class. On Friday, they ate toast, popcorn, pretzels, jelly beans, and jello like the characters in the book while they watched the movie.

3rd graders at Ackerman Elementary School in Mrs. Gammill and Mr. Richardson’s classes were rewarded for excellent behavior with a lunch from Bumpers on Friday.

4th graders at Ackerman Elementary School have been learning about pardoned turkeys. As part of their unit, students came up with reasons their turkey deserved to be pardoned and had them dress the part.
